Blueberry Ice Cream Recipe for Weight Loss
Yield: 4 servings (1/2 cup each)
Ingredients:
- 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
- ¾ cup nonfat buttermilk
- ½ cup superfine sugar
- ¼ cup orange juice
Directions:
- Place blueberries, buttermilk, sugar, and orange juice in a food processor or blender. Process until smooth.
- Pour into a square freezer-safe pan.
- Freeze for 2 hours and 30 minutes, stirring frequently to equally distribute the ice crystals. Allow to soften slightly at room temperature before serving.
